ALEXANDRE
DAL FARRA
SYNOPSIS
A middle class family, formed by a boy, his father and his aunt, lives a common daily life, until some external events force these people to deal with what exists outside the house. This incomplete and incomplete plot is told in a fragmentary way, alternating with another narrative layer that tells the play's own creation process - bringing the various attempts to structure a self-critical look, of the white man himself, about his naturalized racism. A third layer also contains fragments of other texts - three in all - written throughout the creation process.
The play generated intense debate, and an immense amount of texts, which can be found online. A selection of some of them was published in a dossier in the Sala Preta magazine, here.
